Senior SEO Specialist

Core Optimisation is a rapidly growing Google Partner digital agency and due to our continued growth, we require a Senior SEO Specialist to join our team. The right candidate must be passionate about digital and the delivery of exceptional customer experience. Our business is fast-paced, exciting and dynamic and we are looking for a flexible and driven individual who thrives in a busy environment

The successful applicant for this role will be required to manage SEO accounts for our top tier of customers. Your focus will be to deliver exceptional results for your client portfolio while also working with the SEO team lead to mentor the SEO team, identifying new strategies and to develop the SEO offering.

 

Responsibilities Portfolio Management

  • Working as part of a wider team to ensure overall Online Revenue grows for your client portfolio.
  • Develop a clear understanding of each clients business and their objectives
  • Manage a portfolio of Core Optimisations top tier SEO Clients
    • Ensuring SEO Strategy is consistent with overall Digital Growth Strategy for the Client.
    • Develop a strong understanding of the Clients business
    • Review Impact of Best Practice / Innovation Changes across your Portfolio once implemented and report back to SEO Team on the results
    • Identifying Technical fixes for your clients
    • Identifying content opportunities and work with the client to develop SEO content that unlocks these opportunities
    • Onsite Optimisation of your clients websites
    • Google My Business best practice recommendations
    • Backlink Strategy Development
  • Work with account management and the other channels to align the SEO Service within an overall Core Optimisation Strategy
  • Share industry Insights and Innovation with the SEO Team.
  • Feed into Case Studies / Award Submissions

Experience Required

  • 3+ Years Experience in SEO Roles
  • Experienced in utilising reporting and SEO tools such as SEM Rush, Google Analytics and Search Console.
  • Knowledge of latest SEO Best Practice
  • Ability to cultivate SEO keywords and phrases to drive website traffic.
  • Ability to devise and create compelling SEO friendly content
  • Proven track record at prioritise workload and hit targets
  • Strong analytical & Problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • A team player with Enthusiasm and Drive

UK Commercial Manager

The UK Commercial Manager role is fundamental to our future plans in Ireland and the UK. 

As the UK Commercial Manager, you will be part of a commercial team responsible for achieving the growth targets set for the company in the UK. 

The first full time member of our team in the UK, you will lead the creation of our UK proposition working closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications. You will be responsible for building our operation and profile and be in charge of all development activities including sourcing new business, leading pitches, creating proposals and drafting contracts with new clients.

Pay scale: Competitive salary plus uncapped OTE based on sales performance (dependent upon experience). 

Status: Full time. Remote working with quarterly in person meetings in Ireland.  All flexible working options considered.

Direct reports: The role doesn’t currently have any direct reports or line management responsibilities, however this is anticipated to change as the UK operation develops.

 

Main responsibilities:

The main responsibility will be to develop a robust new business pipeline in order to acquire new clients for Core Optimisation.  

This position reports to Kieran O’Brien, Director of Marketing & Communications and will work closely with Tom Salmon, Core Optimisation’s non-executive director based in Leeds, UK.  It owns the New Business sales plan (focused on Performance Marketing and Digital Marketing Transformation).

  • Identify opportunities to develop Core Optimisation in the UK and support us to build a team based in England
  • Build successful partnerships with Core Optimisation’s team in Ireland and the UK-based non-executive director to identify, develop and close opportunities 
  • Works with / through internal teams to promote solutions that address different customer needs
  • Works closely with Enterprise Ireland’s UK based Team to leverage post Brexit opportunities.
  • Translating insight and co-creation and formulating solutions to meet the unique business needs of clients 
  • Leads development of business-value messaging with the Core Optimisation’s marketing teams, case studies/use cases, and other targeted sales materials to pitch, grow, and expand the UK business
  • Works with marketing and lead generation partners to plan and implement targeted outreach efforts with customers
  • Interpreting industry reports and using industry accepted principles and approaches to develop robust strategies for clients (digital marketing, marketing transformation, performance marketing)
  • Preparing presentations and speaking at a range of informal and formal meetings and events to varied audiences (ranging from small local community groups to large delegations of senior influencers)

Essential Skills and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree  
  • It is anticipated the suitable candidate will have 5+ years consultative sales, account management and/or sales experience  
  • Experience working with partners including Google and Meta
  • Established contacts and relationships with potential customer 
  • Knowledge and understanding of the digital marketing and agency marketplace  
  • Market and client development expertise with a partnership focus  
  • Significant business relationships with senior client executives  
  • Experienced in executing partner go-to-market programs, messaging, and delivery for a variety of audiences including a track record of exceeding revenue quota and new business adoption goals  
  • Must have a history of achieving revenue targets and strong client/agency relationships  
  • Develop strong internal relationships 
  • Gain and maintain knowledge on all Core Optimisation products, services, and tools by working with Core Optimisation’s team in Ireland and the UK-based non-executive director
  • An ability to gain access and influence decision-makers at the highest levels in client organisations  
  • The ability to craft and execute strategic and tactical plans to close large revenue projects  
  • Experience using CRM systems for Pipeline forecasting and lead generation/nurturing.
