Senior Project Manager

Core Optimisation is a rapidly growing digital marketing agency working with leading brands across Ireland and the UK. We are a top 5% Google Premier Partner in EMEA and a Preferred Facebook Marketing Partner. Due to our continued growth, we require a Senior Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate would have 5+ years’ experience in a high paced and dynamic environment. 

The Senior Project Manager provides leadership on assigned projects and acts to achieve financial, schedule and client relationship objectives. The Senior Project Manager plans and organises all functions specific to the projects, coordinates client interaction between the project team and client, provides guidance on recommended manpower and resources. The Senior Project Manager will strive to improve and increase client relationships.

The successful candidate must have a strong Digital discipline background along with experience running system integration, digital or design projects. 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and execution of multiple projects, throughout the delivery life cycle, to ensure the project outcomes are achieved, working with internal and external project stakeholders as required.
  • Collaborate and share learnings with peers, and provide coaching and guidance to project coordinators  to optimise project delivery methods on time and within budget. 
  • Develops and Maintains Project Execution Plan.
  • Proactively Identify and mitigate project risks and issues across project scope, schedule, cost, quality, benefits and resources, collaborating with internal or external stakeholders, and delegating or escalating appropriately to resolve effectively and efficiently
  • Where appropriate manage the preparation, facilitation of and outputs from project solution/ delivery meetings and workshops, taking a solution-focussed approach and identifying opportunities to implement process or solution improvements
  • Managing a team of project coordinators.
  • Prepares internal monthly financial/schedule reports for The Management Team & Client for each project against agreed milestones and KPI’s.
  • Enhances and facilitates project team communication and coordination.
  • Communicate regularly with key stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project status, activities and responsibilities, while addressing risks and issues in a timely manner
  • Responsible for management of all sub-consultants on the project.
  • Assists in identifying, and developing innovative methods for improving project management processes and techniques against current SOPs.
  • Work with the Project Management Team to ensure all internal project management procedures are followed. 
  • Develops and maintains meeting minutes and Action Items/Needs List for each project.


  • 5+ years’ experience of managing integrated systems in a creative or digital agency, with excellent  knowledge of digital and web design
  • Strong Project management experience in Enterprise environment (SOWs, team management, risk management, staffing)
  • Excellent client management instincts and abilities and Executive-level presence
  • Enjoy presenting – showcase high energy, passion and positivity
  • Ability to prioritize and plan effectively
  • Willing and able to travel (approx 20% of time) 
  • Solid ability to coordinate and work across functional & technical teams – both internally and with partners, both in-person and virtually
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and stay flexible through growth and change
  • Experience creating and updating project plans and regular project status reports
  • Experience with stakeholder management and stakeholder communication on projects
  • Comfortable with managing multiple projects at once
  • Professional project management qualifications (PPM/ Prince2/ PMP/ etc.)
  • MBA or Master Degree would be beneficial
  • Analytical thinking, structured problem solving skills, excellent communications skills, team building and strong work ethic. Must be able to build rapport with project staff, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Skilled in the use of IT tools, including spreadsheets, word processing, planning and scheduling software.

Paid Search Specialist

Due to our continued growth, we require a Paid Search Specialist with 2+ years’ experience in a similar role. The right candidate must be passionate about Paid Search and the successful applicant will join our dynamic team specialising in Digital Growth for our clients. We are passionate about increasing our clients’ revenue and the ideal candidate will share that passion.


  • Working as part of a wider team to ensure overall Online Revenue grows for client portfolio.
  • Develop a clear understanding of each clients business and their objectives
  • Develop Paid Strategy in line with Customer Strategy
  • Execute Effective Paid Campaigns that hit agreed Client Objectives and KPI’s
  • Ensure Paid Search Revenue grows for client portfolio
  • Effectively Manage Ad Copy to ensure in line with agreed strategy and reflective of the brand and customised depending on stage of the funnel
  • Ensure Budgets are hit and we do not go over agreed Client Budgets
  • Effectively use the latest Google Ads Tech including Smart Bidding and Automation to hit agreed strategic objectives for the client
  • Effectively Communicate with Account Management and rest of Project team to ensure they are abreast of progress against strategic objectives
  • Analyse Trends and Insights and feed into Growth Plans for clients
  • A/B Test landing pages and Ad Copy
  • Send Landing Page Recommendations to Client

Required Experience

  • 2 Years Experience in a Similar Role Essential
  • Google Ads Certified
  • Experience using full funnel strategies including Reach, Conversion, Remarketing and Product Feeds
  • Performance Driven and ROI Focused
  • Proven track record at prioritising workload and hit targets
  • Strong analytics skill set
  • A passion for Digital marketing
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
